Neoteric Energy has established a robust Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) to proactively manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks. This system enables the company to:

identify and Evaluate ESG Risks Early: All prospective projects undergo thorough ESG risk screening before investment decisions are made, ensuring risks are addressed upfront.

Mitigate Risks from the Start: Greenfield developments and new acquisitions are rigorously assessed at the conceptualization stage, including the analysis of climate-related risks, with appropriate mitigation strategies integrated from inception.

Green House Footprint

Neoteric Energy is committed to adding 2 GW of distributed renewable energy capacity in India, targeting its commercial and industrial customers. This initiative will support the decarbonization of the energy sector and help businesses reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, contributing to the global effort to limit the rise in temperatures to 1.5°C.

The company is also dedicated to supporting global climate change mitigation efforts. Neoteric Energy consistently tracks and reports its carbon footprint, including emissions from Scope 1 (direct emissions from owned or controlled sources), Scope 2 (emissions from purchased electricity), and limited Scope 3 emissions (from activities like business travel and employee commutes). These efforts align with the ISO 1464-1/GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. Transparency and accountability regarding our environmental performance are core to our values.


Water Management

At Neoteric Energy, we are deeply mindful of the growing global concern over the scarcity of fresh water resources. In response, we are committed to adopting sustainable water management practices across all our operations. Understanding that water is a precious and finite resource, we actively pursue innovative solutions to minimize water usage without compromising performance.

One such initiative is the use of dry robotic cleaning systems across the majority of our ground-mounted solar installations in the Neoteric portfolio. This advanced technology eliminates the need for water-based cleaning, saving approximately 1.8 liters of water per module per cleaning cycle. By scaling these eco-efficient practices, we not only conserve valuable freshwater resources but also set a benchmark for environmentally responsible operations within the renewable energy sector.
