The Open Access model is designed for industrial and commercial clients who wish to directly source electricity from a generator at the best possible price. Under this model, customers purchase electricity directly from the generator through a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
As per the Electricity Act, 2013, consumers with a connected load of over 1 MW are allowed to buy power from sources other than the state distribution utility. We provide electricity to industrial and commercial clients through long-term PPAs, using the Third Party, Group Captive, or Captive Open Access models, in line with state-specific regulations.
